The Rundown: Annalise and her robot companion must find a way to escape a speeding train and a man who wants her dead.

The robot put in charge of protecting Annalise has an unusual origin story as the dying Vitruvian gives it a new mission and purpose. In the aftermath of the attack on the island, Annalise and the robot find themselves in the clutches of a dangerous former ally of her father’s called Lord Mortus. An ally who has decided to take her into custody to present her to the council.
Unwilling to be used as a prop and desperate for answers about her father and who he was, Annalise decides that a violent escape is the only way out and the reluctant robot fights to protect her as she takes her fight to Lord Mortus.
The Story: Rosenberg delivers a thrilling, fun and entertaining story in this issue. The action is thrilling and also has a fun and funny vibe to it that hooked me. Annalise has an intense and engaging personality and her quickness to violence and the dynamic with the robot is entertaining. I love how over the top many of the characters and moments in the story are and I cannot wait to see where it goes next.
The Art: Landini delivers pulse pounding and visually thrilling action throughout the issue. I love the visual style and how it balances the dramatic elements of the plot with the action and humor.
